ALW is the Advanced Leadership Workshop created to provide students who have already attended SLW and are entering their senior year of high school an opportunity to take their leadership skills to a new level. ALW builds upon the lessons taught in SLW and introduces new concepts. The ALW curriculum is based on the three pillars of service: Community Service, Activism/Awareness, and Political Engagement. Highlights of the week include participating in a community service project within Wayne, advocating for a personal cause in front of peers, and learning new ways to engage in the political process. ALW still participates in several Workshop classics such as the Talent Show, Warm Fuzzies, and the Danquet; however ALW will create new memories with activities such as the Scavenger Hunt and Mirrors. If you are ready to "advance" your leadership, answer the question below to apply to be an ALW delegate.
This form is only required for students entering 12th grade this fall who are attending ALW. If this does not apply to you, you do not need to complete this form.
